Padauk is an African wood. It comes from Central African Republic. The rich red color is another favorite of the ladies. It does darken in prolonged exposure to sunlite. The leaf pins are individually hand carved from selected exotic hardwoods. The leaf pattern is from the Vine Maple, native to the Northwest.
